2007 Highlights

Vermont Grocers Food Industry Convention & Expo
September 14-16, 2007

Nearly 1400 retailers, restaurants and suppliers registered for the annual meeting of the Vermont Grocers Association, which was held at the Sheraton Burlington and the Miller Centre North Expo at the Champlain Valley Exposition, for "Fiesta." Weekend activities included a trade show, golf outing, workshops, and several banquets and networking functions.


The Pearl Street Beverage team enjoyed the opening golf outing.	Members and guests enjoyed a little fun with the VGA casino night.

Amanda Gebo of Shaw's, Bristol, won the Vermont Best Bagger competition at the expo.	Lance Ravlin of Pepsi and Al Lesage of Hannaford served as official greeters.

Maryann Travers of Garelick Farms posed with her new donkey friend.	Robn Godin of Maplefields met up with the Lake Monster at the show.

The Salsa Lina Dancers entertained at the trade show.	Governor Jim Douglas and Dorothy Douglas were on hand to greet convention guests.
